Our long travel day gave way to a relaxing pool day in Siem Reap on Friday. You may remember that on our last trip to Asia we had a delayed flight and our bags didn’t join us until a day or two later.
Similar to bringing an umbrella along to guarantee a rain-free outing, we split our clothes up among our checked bags to mitigate the inconvenience of lost luggage. Crisis averted. We just have to recall which bag held which garment.
Suaram and CreeperPuppy jumped right into the pool after lunch and splashed around for a good hour.
CreeperKitty got the record for first Adventurer to go to bed on Friday. He was asleep by 2p local time and Tiffany followed about an hour later. We have an early wake-up call tomorrow, so it’s probably OK to get to bed a little early tonight.
Brian was determined to stay awake for sunset in Cambodia after having watched sunrise in Singapore this morning after our 17 hour flight.
Our 3 bedroom villa has a lovely little pool and a pleasant patio area from which these words are getting composed.
The weather here is quite pleasant. The humidity isn’t over-bearing and we hope this pattern holds for a few more days of activity.
Tomorrow’s sunrise should be memorable for all of us.
