Rota, Spain; Day 10

Today was meant to be a set of Adventures crossing the Bay of Cadiz and visiting one of the oldest cities in Southern Spain. Alas, the weather didn’t cooperate.

The wind blew 24 knots steady and we had gusts of 39 coming right off the water. There was some rain but it wasn’t torrential…just sideways and stinging and cold.

It felt like a good day to make a rich Irish beef stew and to pray for any mariners caught out in that weather.

And that…was our Adventure for the day.
