The faculty and student body of the 5 Adventures Academy were happy to see the school week come to a close today. We intend to press ahead with another few days of school before the Christmas weekend but were glad to see the end of our “resort school” week with all of the distractions and challenges.
The pools, the beach and the Kids’ Club are among those ‘challenges’. We all agreed that we would finish the week strong and then camp poolside for as long as we could stand it.
Little did we know that today was Crepe Stall day. Some of the kids absolutely love (LOVE!) crepes so our decision about lunch was made for us.
Mom and Dad ordered ham & cheese crepes for the kids thinking that we may be able to get some protein into them that way. Meanwhile, the kids ordered banana & Nutella crepes for themselves.
Mom and Dad were proud to have taken advantage of BOTH of today’s Happy Hours. Dad got to spend dinner on a date with the oldest Johnston son. They enjoyed a few mocktails and then walked the grounds to see the holiday lights of the season.
