We enjoyed some favorable weather and spent time down at the pool. Brian’s mom had thought to bring some items of interest for the kids. One of which was the set of bubble wands which produced some amazing bubbles – CreeperKitty used the technique with a rope he’d seen in Geneva and made some good ones.
The afternoon lent itself to relaxing outside so we all may have picked up a bit more sun than we had intended to but, oh well.
Last night the kids were beside themselves that a campfire wasn’t produced (“when a perfectly good fire ring was sitting in the back yard”). Needless to say, we bought Smores fixings and fired it up this evening.
Everyone was happy after that. As the sky turned a little threatening we called it another great day in Michigan and headed inside.
